Germany's fish fair 4 - 6 September 2022

Instead of February as usual, fish international will take place this year from 4-6 September 2022.

Around 303 exhibitors from 29 nations presented their products in the areas of fish production and processing, fresh fish and delicacies, as well as research and development in February 2020. More than 10,000 visitors from fisheries management, retail and catering took the opportunity for information, networking and exchange.

Growing interest in certified fish in commercial kitchens

Increasingly, chefs in commercial kitchens are turning to raw products from certified fisheries and sustainable production. This is revealed in statements by leading representatives of community catering in a survey conducted by the fish international. To make fish even more appealing to their guests in company and student canteens, residential homes and event catering, providers such as the market leader Deutsche See are adding convenience products to their already estalished sustainable offerings.

A good 10,000 visitors from the fishing industry, retail and gastronomy come here to find suppliers, get information and exchange ideas. 85% of the trade visitors are involved in purchasing decisions in their company.

gastro iventGASTRO IVENT, which usually takes place in parallel, will now be organised in January 28-30, 2023 as a Special Edition separately from fish international. In 2024, we plan to return together again.
